Bollywood actresses like Konkona Sensharma and Bhumi Pednekar will soon be seen together in the upcoming OTT film ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Chamakte Sitare’. They recently shared their look from the film and teased what their characters will be like and what the film will deal with.
On her Instagram account, Konkona shared a still from the movie where her character looks quite pensive dressed in red. The words alongside the picture said, “What does it feel like to live a perfect life in your own messed up bubble? Dolly should know a thing or two about that. Our new film Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitaare! Coming Soon!”
On the other hand, Bhumi also shared her look from the film. She can be seen sitting on top a bed, glancing away within a simple house. She also said her character will be called ‘Kajal’. Her caption said, “Kajal aka Kitty ? , she is a dreamer… searching for her Chamakte Sitare ? Coming Soon !”
When the new Netflix lineup was announced for projects specially curated for its Indian audience, it was revealed that the upcoming film will feature these two fierce women (Bhumi and Konkona), fighting their silent battles as they explore things like sisterhood and womanhood and everything else.
‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’ has been directed by Alankrita Shrivastava (known for Lipstick Under My Burkha, Made In Heaven and Turning 30) and will feature a cast of Amol Parashar, Kubra Sait, Karan Kundra and Vikrant Massey playing other significant roles.
The film was also showcased in the 24th Busan International Film Festival and will stream on Netflix soon.
