Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan gave a major update regarding her upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in the form of a post. She announced that she has wrapped up her side of the shooting for the awaited film. She also thanked her c0-star Aamir Khan as well as the rest of the crew of the film for a wonderful experience.
She shared a picture of the duo smiling candidly while sitting on portable plastic chairs in the middle of a bright yellow field. She wrote on her post, “And all journeys must come to an end. Today, I wrapped my film Laal Singh Chaddha… tough times… the pandemic, my pregnancy, nervousness but absolutely nothing could stop the passion with which we shot, with all safety measures of course.”
She further added, “Thank you @_aamirkhan and @advaitchandan for an intense yet poignant journey… thank you to my most wonderful team @avancontractor, @teasemakeup, @makeupbypompy, @poonamdamania and the entire crew… @nainas89 you were missed. Till we cross paths again…❤️❤️??”

The film is being directed by Advait Chandan and is loosely based on the Hollywood classic called ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks. Initially supposed to release in December 2020, the unexpected COVID-19 lockdown resulted in the film’s launch being delayed for one whole year. It is expected to hit the theatres during December 2021 now.
