Kangana Ranaut wins the ‘Best Actress’ National Award for her performance in Manikarnika, Panga

Actress Kangana Ranaut has won the National Award yet again owing to her stellar performance in two films i.e. Manikarnika and Panga. The actress took to her social media to extend gratitude towards the team of both films. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi was a period drama film about the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai. Whereas Panga was the story of a mother who was formerly a Kabaddi champion and decides to make a comeback.

Kangana has an exciting line of work scheduled to released this year as well such as Thalaivi, Dhaakad, Tejas and so on.

The 67th National Awards got held in New Delhi recently. The event felicitated the best body of work from several films and artists from the year 2019. The ceremony was scheduled to happen during May 2020 but had to be postponed owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The organisation under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting known as the Directorate of Film Festival gave out the prestigious awards.
