It’s only been a few days since ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ released and the film has reached great heights with superb reviews by the critics. Janhvi Kapoor has essayed the role of Gunjan Saxena, the first female officer from the Indian Air Force, who created history by flying in a combat zone during the 1999 Kargil war. The film centres around her phenomenal journey.
Janhvi recently shared some behind the scenes videos and images of her training sessions and pictures from the sets. She can be seen working out intensely in some videos, smiling away as she is geared up to film some sequences. She also uploaded a picture of her palms, where you can see blisters due to consistent training sessions.
She captioned the recent post, “The best memories. A journey I will always be eternally grateful for; for the people I met along the way, and for everything I felt and learnt ?”

Directed by debutant, Sharan Sharma, the film also starred Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi, Vineet Kumar, Manav Vij, Ashish Bhatt, Raunak Bhinder, Gulshan Pandey and others in significant roles.
