Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz had a piece of exciting news for everyone. On her recent Twitter post, she announced her brand new film ‘Unfair & Lovely’ with Randeep Hooda. By the looks of her tweet, it seems like the film will tackle the issue of colourism that exists within the society. Set in the state of Haryana, Ileana will be playing the role of a girl named ‘Lovely’ in the movie.

The film will be the directorial debut of Balwinder Singh Janjua, who has been a screenwriter of popular films like ‘Mubarakan’, ‘Firangi’, ‘Saand Ki Ankh’ and so on.
‘Unfair & Lovely’ is being produced by Sony Pictures and will belong to the comedy genre. Scheduled for a 2021 release, the film will be shot in India but at multiple locations.
