“Halle Berry feels connected to India,” says Actress-producer Dia Mirza, who met and spoke to Oscar-winning Hollywood star.
Dia Mirza, a former Miss Asia-Pacific, bonded with the former James Bond girl over climate change at a private event here in Mumbai. She also shared a photograph of herself along with singer Ananya Birla and Berry on social media.

“She is still in India. And she specifically told me some 2-3 times that ever since she landed in India, somehow she is getting the feeling that she is connecting to this place. She felt very connected with the country and she is really excited about spending time here” said Dia Mirza.

Recently Halle Berry shared a picture of herself on social media, roaming the street of Mumbai, which went viral.
Dia also talked about meeting and interacting with Halle Berry and the private event, where both participated.
She said, “I think I am fortunate to be able to do the kind of work that gives me the opportunity to meet amazing personalities, not just in India but overseas as well. And I think the opportunity to meet Halle Berry and interact with her was by-product of that”

“It was an interaction that was for a private event. We both spoke with each other in the presence of some 300 corporates’ and the idea was to have a healthy and honest exchange, which hopefully inspires the people in the room and it was wonderful”
Halle Berry is still in India on her tour and enjoying the hospitality of Kerala, confirms Dia. She said, “She is gone to Kerala right now.”
