Earlier a full-time YouTuber and now a talk show host, Lilly Singh has bagged the role of a voice artist in an upcoming animated film titled ‘Hitpig’. As per the updates, the film is being co-directed by storyboard artist ‘Cinzia Agelini’ (known for Minions, Despicable Me 3) and animator Maurizio Parimbelli (known for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).
Along with Lilly, Game of Thrones fame Peter Dinklage will also be seen in the leading role as Hitpig, a grizzled porcine bounty hunter. Whereas Lilly will be playing an enthusiastic yet naive elephant named Pickles.
Singh confirmed the news on her official Instagram where she shared the news on one of her posts while saying, “Super hype to finally share this news! I can’t wait to bring Pickles to life in the epic story of #HitPig. She’s a joyful elephant who can’t stop dancing, so honestly we’re pretty much aligned already ? Honoured to be alongside this incredible cast and grateful to Aniventure and everyone involved. Let’s get to work ???”
The film is scheduled to release next year and will be made by Aniventure, an animation firm from the UK.
