First look: Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming “Bhuj: The Pride of India”

As more and more movies are getting an OTT release, many celebrities have been active on their social media and keeping their fans up to date about their upcoming projects.

Similarly, Ajay Devgn starrer Bhuj: The Pride of India got roped in to release under Disney+ Hotstar and another actress from the film Sonakshi Sinha has revealed how she’s going to look in the upcoming film.

In the poster shared by the actress on Instagram, you can see a Sepian background as Sonakshi stands in traditional Gujarati attire, glancing away from the camera intensely. She wrote below the image, “Honoured to play the HEROIC role of Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, the brave social worker who took 299 women along with her to support the Indian Army! #BhujThePrideOfIndia a crucial incident from History will unveil soon with #DisneyPlusHotstarMultiplex on @DisneyPlusHotstarVIP.

Apart from Sonakshi, Ajay Devgn’s first look from the film was also shared by Abhishek Dudhaiya, the debutant director of the project around early 2020.

The film tells the historic story of the Indo-Pak war from 1971. It will revolve around 299 women belonging to the Madhapar district in Gujarat and their immense courage and dedication towards serving the armed forces at that time.

‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ will also star Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar and Pranitha in other significant roles and will stream on Disney + Hoststar soon. No official release date has been announced yet.
