The day four of the 7th Jagran Film Festival gave film buffs their daily dose of interesting movies and the excitement levels reached new heights as the four screens of Cinepolis (Andheri) presented masterpieces from across the globe coupled with special workshops to wow the movie buffs and aspiring filmmakers, scriptwriters and producers alike
The day came to an end with a Coffee Table Session on ‘Shorts Can Make You Big’ which turned out to be an engaging tete-a-tete with short filmmakers Aarti Chabria, supermodel-actress Elena Fernandes and veteran Film Director Vinod Pandey, who offered insights on challenges faced by filmmakers attempting short films, selection of subjects having a universal appeal, generating revenue from short films, etc.
Jagran Film Festival’s flagship category Jagran Shorts that offers a national platform to short film makers from the world over brought to the fore varied genre films such as Persian film 3 Colours, Japanese film, One Night Bang, German film, Winter’s Journey, Spanish films, Horror Vacui and The Heatwave & Hindi short film, The Listener.
