Winner of Miss World 2017 pageant who will soon set foot in Bollywood, Manushi Chhillar became the new face of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals or PETA India for their Earth Day campaign. On this important day, she encouraged people to adopt a vegetarian diet as it is safer for the environment.
As she endorsed the cause, she wore a crown which was made up of various vegetables like tomatoes, asparagus, okra, and broccoli. In her post, she mentioned, “For me, being a vegetarian was a personal choice and I have unlocked its benefits. This #EarthDay, I request everyone to give this diet a try, if they so choose to. Honoured to be featured by @PetaIndia to highlight how being a vegetarian can be a healthier diet alternative!”
