Stunning Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is celebrating her birthday today! She ventured into the entertainment industry as an actress in the year 2011. Shocking thing is, that she had never initially planned to be an actress as she had a triple honours degree in business, economics and finance and wanted to head towards that direction. It was when she began working as a public relations consultant in Yash Raj Films she realised her passion for acting.

She turned out to be quite phenomenal in what she does as she ended up garnering a lot of praise and awards for her on-screen performances. On the account of Parineeti Chopra’s birthday, we have curated a special list of all the best characters she has portrayed in films.

Ishaqzaade was also the film which garnered Chopra a national award. Set in the backdrop of a small town, the film was a story of a forbidden romance between a Hindu guy (played by Arjun Kapoor) and Muslim girl (Parineeti Chopra) amidst the backdrop of politics. Parineeti played Zoya, a fierce girl who is also loving and carefree as well as audacious. She portrayed her role perfectly with a hint of vulnerability and extreme courage as she fought for what she thought was right.

2. Gayatri (Shuddh Desi Romance)

Parineeti’s character as Gayatri ruled over everyone’s heart in this fresh romantic comedy which aimed to smash stereotypes by being unorthodox. Unlike other heroines who are portrayed to be madly in love with their heroes, Gayathri is showcased to be commitment-phobic, determined to go after what she really wants.

3. Meeta Solanki (Hasee Toh Phasee)

Parineeti played the role of a quirky scientist who lives in China for this film. It is one of the most unconventional roles from Bollywood yet and she portrayed it with ease. She starred opposite to Sidharth Malhotra whose mellow vibe suited perfectly with her weirdness.

4. Bindu Shankarnarayanan (Meri Pyaari Bindu)

The film that struck everyone’s emotional chords with a feeling of bittersweetness and happy pain towards the end. Parineeti Chopra as Bindu is portrayed as someone who changed Abhimanyu’s (played by Ayushmann Khurrana) life. She initially doesn’t seem likeable at first but has her way of stealing the show with her perfect charm.
