“People are complimenting me as Amol Palekar and Bhumi as Smita Patil and they are also naming us Shah Rukh – Kajol Jodi which like too much for us and it is big deal for us. We don’t try to create chemistry while we are working. Chemistry is one thing which happens automatically”
Bhumi also commented on senior journalist Gauri Lankesh’s murder in Bengaluru, she said, “It is really sad. When I heard it, I literally had shiver down my spine because somebody has the audacity to enter your house and shoot you because you stand by certain view. It is ridiculous. We live in democracy but I have full faith in our law and I am sure they get her the justice.”
Ayushmann added, “If this happening in 2017, then it is really sad thing for us. Journalism is regarded as fourth pillar of democracy and something like this happening with them then it’s really unfortunate and I feel we have to stand against this issue”
Bhumi next will be seen along with Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Chaubey’s next film which revolves around Chambal dacoits and set in 1970s.
