Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela graced the ramp for Mumbai based Label Pink Peacock Couture by Masumi Mewawalla on the final day at Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2019.
The collection themed ‘Ardor’ is inspired by the symmetrical and geometric motifs of the Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles. Soft colors like whites, rose pinks, rust and olives lend the collection a dreamy feel that is enhanced by embroidered motifs like soft, delicate flowers.
Pick Peacock Couture is a premier bridal couture and luxury prêt line for men and women, and its Ardor collection features tie-up shirt blouses, sheer pant sarees, trapeze gowns, and jackets, while elaborate bows and trains add to the vintage romance of the line. The collection’s bold and strong lines sweep the eye across each design while making the transitional shift from art to modern couture.

Designer Masumi Mewawalla said, “As a debut show at LFW I was a pleasure to showcase my new collection which is inspired by Art Deco and has a romantic vintage vibe to it, with modern Indo-western silhouettes and soft pastel shades paired with oversized structured clutch bags.
