Mumbai: The beautiful Surveen Chawla was seen at the press launch of Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016 wearing a gorgeous piece from ‘Garo’ by Priyangsu Maji and Sweta Tantia. Their showcasing collection at the upcoming Lakme Fashion Week S/R 2016 is called ‘FEMMES di TAHITI’.
The theme of this collection is inspired by native tahitian prints, colours and motifs. It incorporates the stunning natural beauty; beautiful floral landscapes and bohemian style of tahitian women with an eclectic french Polynesian flavour.
The garments are easy flowing silhouettes having a soft handloom chanderi, cotton matko, woven bapta silk and chiffon textures with vibrant colours straight out of works of the master of avant-garde Paul Gauguin.
‘GARO’ by Priyangsu Maji and Sweta Tantia, launched in Kolkata is an Indian luxury brand that creates & designs contemporary Indian wear for women.
