Mumbai: Miss Uttarakhand- Shweta Khanduri known for her suave looks and talented acting abilities was quite lethal during her growing days. While acting in films may be her true love, the sport is truly her first passion.
Hailing from city of mountains Dehradun, before Shweta took to showbiz, the beauty pageant queen has also tasted the dust playing sports and winning some medals for her. The actress has garnered kudos for exhibiting her Basket ball skills at District Level and Cricket at State level. Shweta was felicitated with the Best Female Volunteer in National Social Service (NSS)
The pretty girl from the hilly area balanced her academics & sports with her passion to sizzle on the silver screen, participating in extra- curricular activities like drama & modeling. Shweta Khanduri represented her school for sports simultaneously looked chic & revealed her feminine side being the brand face for various big brands like Shaina NC, Westside, Citadel, Kairee Sarees –Pune, Sleep-ins- Pune, Nalli Sarees.
She has done it all from sports to academics to drama to modeling , winning Miss Uttarakhand title & bagged 3 movies in a very less span, Shweta Khanduri has worked from scratch to make it big in the city of dreams without any filmy background.
Shweta Khanduri, revels her fondness towards her love and passion, she says “Though my true love is acting, but playing sports has always been my passion. I was very pro- active during my college and school days in participating in sports, drama and extra- curricular. It wasn’t just studies for me; I liked to participate in every aspect of learning. I guess it was then that I discovered my love for acting and here I am pursuing and living my dreams”.
