When beach babe Evelyn Sharma flaunted her curves in a hot pink bikini in the backdrop of a swimming pool a few months ago, little did she know she will have competition.
As it turns out, a pink bikini photograph of another actress Aditi Rao Hydari has surfaced on the net and Evelyn’s fans seem to be pointing out the similarities.
But while they are calling Aditi’s pic a copy, Evelyn’s own publicist brushes it off. “That’s alright,” says her PR Dale Bhagwagar. “Ever since Yo Yo Honey Singh’s Yaariyan chartbuster Sunny Sunny happened to Evelyn, she is one of Bollywood’s best known bikini girls,” he points out. “Pink bikinis have come to be identified as ‘Trademark Evelyn Sharma.’ She is Bollywood’s pink bikini prototype.”
Guess it’s flattering for Evelyn if fans compare anyone wearing a pink bikini to her. Maybe because it shows a strong ‘brand recall value’. Interesting (or should we say sexy) way to look at things. Isn’t it?
