Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi took to his Twitter handle to praise the efforts being put by filmmaker Aditya Chopra, the chairman of Yash Raj Films. He took the initiative to use the funds from 50 years celebration of the production house for COVID-19 relief. Meals are being produced for frontline workers of Goregaon and the residents of quarantine centres situated in Andheri.
On his post made on Twitter, Vivek said, “Hats off to #AdityaChopra for turning the budget of the incredible milestone of #YRF50 into a source of helping the people in need. Truly a leader, not just in the film fraternity but now also in humanity.@yrf#TeamYRF”

The production house had also launched another initiative called ‘Yash Chopra Saathi Initiative’. It is for all the daily wage workers from the industry and under this initiative, a direct benefit transfer of 5,000 bucks will be provided to families as well as women and senior citizens of the industry. Ration kits are also being provided under the same.
