Vir Das has shared a major announcement through his social media handle. He will be starring in a new international film titled ‘The Bubble’ with noted filmmaker Judd Apatow (Known for ‘Knocked-Up’, ‘This Is 40). The film will also star other esteemed actors like Peter Serafinowicz, Pedro Pascal, Leslie Mann, Keegan-Michael Key, David Duchovny, Maria Bakalova, Fred Armisen, Iris Apatow and Karen Gillan.
Vir Das shared the news through a post on Instagram that confirmed it. In the caption, he explained more about the film in the caption and mentioned, “Up next! I’m with these amazing folks on a crazy movie ???#thebubble
Bubble is a meta-comedy about a group of actors and actresses stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel attempting to complete a studio franchise film.”

During the lockdown, Vir Das starred in the web series ‘Hasmukh’ on streaming giant Netflix that he also wrote. He also released his standup special called, ‘Vir Das: Outside In’, which is also available on Netflix.
