The first-ever Filmfare OTT awards got hosted recently and one of the most talked-about performance was of Jaideep Ahlawat’s as Hathiram Chaudhary from the web series Paatal Lok. He also won the award for ‘Best Actor in a Drama Series (Male)’ for his exceptional portrayal of an undervalued but sincere cop, who is given a highly important case to prove himself. In order to celebrate his win, his friend and another gem of an actor Vijay Varma got together with him.
On his Instagram handle, Vijay put out a sweet video with the awardee while congratulating him for his big win. Both of them can be seen jamming to a song which had been muted. Vijay’s caption said, “Last year, We knew he gonna slay this year. Congratulations on big win brother @jaideepahlawat. Best actor #Filmfare in da house! Make some noise ?Woot woot. Vijay Varma has also been ruling over many hearts since his portrayal as ‘Moin Bhai’ in Gully Boy. He then starred as Tyagi brothers this year in the second instalment of the Mirzapur franchise which garnered him a lot of love and attention from the fans. He also gave another stellar performance during 2020 as Rasheed in the Mira Nair directed web series ‘A Suitable Boy’.
