Vicky Kaushal is eagerly awaiting the release of his coming-of-age musical, Mozez Singh’s Zubaan and has been leaving no stone unturned to promote the film.
The young and talented actor, who had already started shooting for the on-going schedule of Aanand L Rai’s Manmarziyan has cancelled the shoot to join the publicity campaign of Zubaan.
A source says, “Vicky was supposed to start shooting for Manmarziyan, also starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in Punjab from February 10, but the makers of Zubaan wanted those dates for promotions.
“Vicky, being a newcomer, had requested the makers of Zubaan to get permission from Aanand L Rai and his team for his dates and eventually, he dropped out of the schedule to promote Zubaan,” the source adds.
“Vicky, who has already visited Delhi recently, will be traveling to the capital city again for another promotional activity. The actor will now allot fresh dates to Aanand L Rai only after the release of Zubaan,” explains the source.
While Mozez Singh confirms, “We have requested the makers of Manmarizyan to adjust Vicky’s dates,” Aanand L Rai says, “We have a long schedule in Punjab till April. Vicky will join us later.”
Produced by Wave Cinema, Guneet Monga and Shaan Vyas of Sikhya Entertainment & Metamozez Entertainment, Zubaan, directed by Mozez Singh and featuring Vicky Kaushal and Sarah Jane Dias is scheduled to release 4th March 2016.
