During the trailer launch event of the upcoming film Sooryavanshi, a funny incident took place. Ranveer Singh, one of the co-stars from the film featuring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Ajay Devgn arrived quite late to the event compared to all his seniors. As Akshay is known to be one of the most disciplined stars from the industry, he schooled him in an extremely funny way as he arrived.
Ranveer being Ranveer could be seen rushing to meet the rest of the cast and falling on everyone’s feet, hugging them and apologising profusely for his delay. He even did sit-ups while holding his ears in front of his seniors. Director of the film Rohit Shetty and producer Karan Johar were also present at the event. YouTubers Ashish Chanchlani was also made part of the trailer launch as a host. He managed to record this hilarious incident and put it up on his Instagram!

Initially meant to hit the theatres in the month of March, Sooryavanshi’s release got postponed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although many theatrical films ended up opting for an OTT release as the lockdown got extended, Rohit Shetty has been determined to give everyone a big-screen experience by only releasing it in theatres.
Although many cinema halls got reopened from October 15 due to the Government’s order for Unlock 5, as per some buzz in the industry, Sooryavanshi’s release has been delayed to 2021.
