Sushant Singh Rajput spoke at IIT-Mumbai and took a dig at himself

Sushant Singh Rajput

Straight out of the phenomenal success of his film ‘M.S. Dhoni: An Untold Story’, actor Sushant Singh Rajput should be on cloud nine. But those bestowed with greatness never let success get to their heads. Ditto with Sushant Singh Rajput.

The actor was recently at the IIT-Mumbai. He was there to address the students of the Shailesh J Mehta School of Management. At the IIT, Sushant shared the story of his life – now that many are interested in knowing about the man who played Dhoni so well.

Sushant may have left many at the IIT inspired. Yet it was these two Instagram posts that deserves to be mentioned for they display the humility of the actor.

A DCE dropout discussing his journey in an IIT Campus. :-))

Yes, Sushant took a dig at himself in the first of those posts. Though a bright student, Sushant dropped out after the third year of his engineering course at the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE). With that post, he’s basically pointing at the irony of a dropout addressing students of one of the country’s most prestigious institutions.

In the second one, Sushant smartly does what is usually done by engineers and management speakers – the ‘link in the bio’. No, there is no link in the bio provided by Sushant – it’s just for fun.

Given Sushant’s inspiring life, the IIT students must have learned something good from the interaction. Follow your dreams? Perhaps.
