After putting up a spectacular show at the Da-Bangg world tour, Sooraj Pancholi was invited by IIT Bombay’s Techfest, a science and technology festival that has been granted patronage by UNESCO, UNICEF and Make in India. The said fest brings light to various initiatives every year and works towards eradicating social problems.
This year, they organized a Cyclothon on the 1st October, heralding the motto, “Pedal for a Better Heart”. More than 3500 young enthusiastic cyclists from all over Mumbai participated in the event. Known for his incredible physique and obsession for fitness, Sooraj was invited to the Cyclothon to extend his support to the cause as a Chief Guest and talk about the significance of fitness and cycling.
Sooraj says, “Cycling is one of the most effective ways to keep our hearts and its circulation in check. I’m honoured to be part of such an important cause. It was amazing to see youth show up in thousands for the event.”
