As Shahid Kapoor currently shoots for his sports drama ‘Jersey’, he took to Instagram to post about one of his practice sessions. In the upcoming film, he will be seen as a sportsman, hence it is very important for him to get as much practice as he can. In his latest post, he is all geared up in leg guards, gloves and a helmet as he practices batting.
On his post, he wrote, “Early mornings.. wake up with drive. ?” The film is still under production as the shooting had to be halted owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was initially meant to release in the month of August.

The film is going to be a Hindi adaptation of a Telugu film of the same name. Gowtham Timmmuri, the person who directed the original will also be directing the Bollywood version of the film with Shahid. It will feature emerging Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur as the female lead along with other stars like Pankaj Kapur and Sharad Kelkar in significant roles.
