Celebrations were a little different on the occasion of Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday this time. The iconic tradition of gathering around his house, Mannat to get a glimpse of him on a special day didn’t take place this time owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, his fan accounts still found a way to celebrate the star’s birthday in a grand manner nevertheless.
Many of his fan accounts carried out noble initiatives like organizing a blood donation drive, distributing COVID-19 safety kits, food packets amongst the needy. The star was highly impressed by all the hard work fans put and made a special video in order to thank them. He was seen saying, “Hi everybody! This is to thank you for all the wonderful wishes that I’ve been getting on social media and how much love you guys are spreading.” He then named some of the fan accounts.
He continued as he said, “All the work you boys and girls have been doing, giving your time and resources to the people who are in need right now in these times..the PPE Kits that you’ve been doing, the blood donations, going out and helping everyone who’s in need. I think that’s the most wonderful work you can do because You can’t be a lover boy like me without spreading love. ” He then thanked everyone for spreading love. He also promised that next year’s celebrations will be bigger and better.
