Akshay Kumar’s dad and dara singh were acquaintances.
Akshay never thought that he would do a film titled Rustom. Dara singh in 1982 had done a film names Rustom which was about a fighter past in prime and now Akshay is doing a Rustom which is inspired by a true event that took place in 1959.
Akshay says that he grew up admiring Daraji.
