The official Twitter handle for Vijay Television finally announced the release date for one of the most awaited reality shows, the 4th season of Bigg Boss Tamil. The show will be premiering its very first episode on 4th October 2020 in the form of a grand launch. It will air from 6 pm sharp.
As the official date was revealed, the TV channel responsible for airing Bigg Boss released a fun new promo, featuring none other than the host, Kamal Haasan. The multitalented personality has been hosting the show since the year 2017.

The reality tv show would have premiered in the month of July. However, the prolonged lockdown owing to the wildly spread COVID-19 virus led to the halt in the entertainment industry and many projects had to be delayed, this included Bigg Boss 4.
Owing to the compulsory social distancing protocols, the contestants who are to be featured in the show are under a 14-day quarantine to ensure there are no symptoms of Coronavirus in them. The crew members involved in the show will also be taking precautions and get checked for the virus consistently.
In order to adapt to the new normal, the premiere episode and the weekend episodes within the show will have no live audience.
