International streaming giant, Netflix has become quite popular in the nation due to its varied range of shows and films specially curated for its Indian audience. Recently the platform took everyone by surprise as it released the ad featuring Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor. Fans are speculating now whether he was hinting at a digital debut or not.
As the ad stars, you see Ranbir appreciating Netflix for the varied variety of shows it contains. He reveals, “Netflix has action, comedy, drama, romance, cartoons which means there’s entertainment for everyone in the family.” Before he could say anything else, he witnesses a director sitting with his crew as they enjoy a cricket match. He then says that he is delaying the announcement and will reveal it after the cricket season comes to an end. He concludes by saying, “See you soon… after cricket”

The 30-minute ad was enough for fans to go crazy over it. Through social media, they revealed how great it would be to see their favourite star taking a lead towards OTT. However, we must wait until there is a proper confirmation to figure out what is really going on. We hope it happens soon!
