Prateik Babbar was recently invited by the group of young students from the organization ‘PUKAR (Partners for Urban Knowledge Action and Research)’ to be the Chief Guest of their Annual Graduation and Felicitation Programme.
PUKAR Youth Fellowship is a unique knowledge initiative featuring ‘Youth fellows’ – groups of people coming from various strata of the society, working on their own research topics, concerning their own lives.
Since the talented actor garnered a significant fan following and considered a youth icon thereby creating his identity at a young age, the authorities at PUKAR approached him to be the guest speaker at the felicitation ceremony and motivate the young researchers.
Interestingly, Prateik was accompanied by his maternal grandfather Shivajirao Patil at the event held at BMN College, SNDT University, Mumbai on Saturday, 25th June, 2016.
Prateik had a candid interaction with the students and delivered an inspiring speech for the dynamic group of researchers and also distributed certificates to the deserving candidates.
