Nawazuddin Siddiqui had a great 2020 as he gave stunning performances in the OTT space with films like ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ and ‘Serious Men’ on Netflix. The actor has kickstarted his 2021 too with a bang and is currently in London to shoot his new film ‘Sangeen’. Undoubtedly he shines brighter than ever with every role he plays. ‘Sangeen’ is being directed by Jaideep Chopra and will feature Nawazuddin Siddiqui alongside Elnaaz Norouzi. It is a known fact that London is under strict lockdown after a mutated strain of COVID-19 was discovered in the area. The actor took to his social media to share his experience regarding working in such a circumstance and said the show must go on. He further revealed what a unique experience it has been to shoot in such a location. He is in a bio bubble and only travels to and from his hotel room and the shoot location.

The ‘Sacred Games’ actor said, “This is the first time that I am shooting in London and I cannot visit the different places around this beautiful city. I understand the present situation and the conditions that we are shooting in and am adhering to all the necessary norms and respect everyone who is fighting hard against this pandemic. The entire unit is working very hard and we hope to wrap up the schedule in time.”
As we rightly understand, there are multiple restrictions and Nawazuddin with his crew is following all the protocols as directed. We are glad that the talented actor has begun with such great enthusiasm as he has multiple upcoming projects. He already has three movies in the pipeline, apart from Sangeen i.e, Kushan Nandy’s romantic comedy- ‘Jogira Sa Ra Ra’, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s drama flick ‘No Land’s Man’ and Sejal Shah’s untitled movie. We can’t wait to see Nawaz create magic once again for all his fans!
