Sharad Kelkar who has much reason to celebrate after the success of his television show Agent Raghav – Crime Branch, now adds another feather to his hat.
The actor will be flying to Malaysia this week to meet millions of his avid fans there and to celebrate the success of his crime fiction show.
Such has been the response to the show that has seen sky rocketing TRP’s here on home turf that the channel has now decided to even telecast it in Malaysia, since Sharad has a massive fanbase there.
The actor’s avid fans wrote in to the channel requesting Sharad to fly to Malaysia and interact with them – Kelkar will now fly there, to celebrate the success of the show and launch it in Malaysia, in the midst of millions of his fans.
The versatile actor, who will head to Kuala Lumpur on June 1 to meet his fans and interact with them, says, “It is always great to meet your viewers, especially those who live abroad, to get a direct response from them. And Malaysia is a big market, because there is a huge audience for Indian TV shows there. Plus, I have never been to Malaysia, so I am definitely excited about this trip.”
Cashing in on his popularity, the channel has even run a contest around the actor, giving fans the chance to click a selfie with him.
