Bollywood star Kunal Khemmu is having an amazing year so far. He ventured into the digital space with two of his projects i.e. a black comedy film ‘Lootcase’ on Disney+ Hotstar and the season 2 of the web series Abhay, a thrilling cop drama.

Both these projects have received a great response from the people who immensely liked the show and the film. They especially liked the performance of Kunal Khemmu who has mostly been seen doing commercial hits like the Golmaal franchise by Rohit Shetty. His portrayal in both the projects is like a breath of fresh air for the public.

Lootcase is a story of a simple middle-class man (Played by Khemmu) who comes across a mysterious suitcase which becomes the answer to all his problems. This is because the suitcase turns out to be full of cash. But there is an interesting turn in the story when he realises he has been caught in the whirlwind of chaos as a malicious goon, a cop and a minister are all after the suitcase.

The film also starred Gajraj Rao, Ranvir Shorey, Rasika Duggal, Vijay Raaz and so on. But Kunal was greatly appreciated for the simplicity he portrayed with a dash of impeccable comic timings he posses, making the watchers believe that there could have been to portray the role of Nandan Kumar better than him.

Abhay 2 is the story of Abhay Pratap Singh, a mettlesome cop who can go to any lengths in order to attain truth and justice. Many watchers have appreciated the amazing concept of the show which starts off with a putrid crime but concludes with a shocking twist that only results in impressing the audience and leaves them begging for more. So far, only the first three episodes have been released on the streaming service, Zee5 and the rest will also release soon.

Apart from this, Kunal was also seen in Mohit Suri’s ‘Malang’ which released earlier this year before the COVID-19 pandemic took over. Here’s to seeing more amazing performances by the actor in the near future!
