“Welcome Back” Maverick actor Nana Patekar is well known for getting home the Dagdu Sheth Ganpati every year and he himself does the honour of immersing the Ganpati idol at Dadar Chowpatty every year but this year, unfortunately due to bad health actor missed this year’s procession, confirms his son Malhar Patekar.
“My Dad would the decoration of flower here but I think his condition isn’t so good, that’s why he could come here today. Everyone here is waiting for him and I am personally informing everyone that unfortunately he won’t be able to come today”
“With God’s Grace, he will be okay soon. There is nothing serious, due to changing weather nowadays he keeps falling sick, and there is nothing to be worried about. Unfortunately today his condition was slightly intense so he won’t be coming. I wanted him to join the procession but that won’t be possible today” said Malhar about his father missing from the event.
Nana Patekar has developed some sort of pain, which doesn’t allow him to move as freely and rest is recommended for the superstar.
Fans and Friends, who came to witness the procession and meet the legendary Nana Patekar were shocked to see the actor missing due to bad health but his son Malhar was pretty stocked about the love and respect his father gets from fans and hoped that it continues in coming years.
“I would like to take this opportunity, the love I see for him among people and fans, I hope he keeps getting the same love and respect and I thank everyone and I am totally indebted” added Malhar.
Nana Patekar was last seen in “Wedding Anniversary” opposite Mahie Gill, which was directed by Shekhar S Jha.
