Popular host and comedic actor Kapil Sharma used his social media recently to introduce his fans to his new friend. That new friend is none other than an adorable cat who was sitting cosily on top of him. He can be seen embracing his new friend gingerly as he posted a candid picture of them on Instagram.
His caption read, “Me n billi”. It is known in the entertainment industry that Kapil vigorously promotes animal rights. In fact, he and his entire cast from his superhit comedy show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ also appeared in a Campaign by PETA ( People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) to make the people aware and urge them to adopt and provide a loving home to abused and homeless cats and dogs.

Back in 2014, he also adopted a retired police dog in Mumbai. Sharma has also campaigned for saving tortured elephants nationwide.
Lately, the TV personality has been quite busy owing to the resumption of his popular show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony Entertainment Television. The show came to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic and has begun shoot as of late without the audience members owing to the strict social distancing protocols.
