Harshvardhan Kapoor‏ training session starts for Abhinav Bindra!

Harshvardhan Kapoor‏ who has been cast the lead for the upcoming film based on Gold Medalist Abhinav Bindra. The actor took to social media to express his excitement as he begins training for the role.

The actor tweeted,
“#PrepMode! What a great feeling to be back in prep mode for my next movie #AbhinavBindra
#PrepBegins stay tuned for updates #Bindra.”

He posted a short clip which shows him receiving professional training for his role as a shooter in the film.
Harshvardhan Kapoor recently confirmed that he would star as the shooter in an Instagram post that captioned “Beginnings are very special. Especially when you get to play a character that has made the nation proud on the world stage. I am stoked to have been chosen to play #AbhinavBindra and hopefully will do justice to the man, the legend!”

Abhinav Bindra became the first Indian sportsperson to win an individual gold medal at the Olympics when he won the 10 m Air Rifle event at the 2008 games, held in Beijing. He finished fourth at the Rio games in 2016 and then announced his retirement soon.

Harshvardhan debuted in 2015 with Rakesh Omprakash’s Mirzya opposite Saiyami Kher. His upcoming films include ‘Bhavesh Joshi’, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane under the banner of Phantom Films.
