Gulshan Devaiah shares what is the ‘greatest fear for an actor’

In a tweet, Gulshan Devaiah explained that it’s the fear of becoming irrelevant and being forgotten. 

Known for his performances in films like ‘Shaitan’, ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’, ‘A Death In The Gunj’ and so on, actor Gulshan Devaiah shared on his social media what he feels is the greatest fear an actor can ever have. In a tweet, he explained that it’s the fear of becoming irrelevant and being forgotten.

His post mentioned, “The forgotten become irrelevant & that’s the greatest fear for an actor. This can be anybody’s reality. It’s a tough business. It kills the mind, breaks the spirit of people & yet we come flocking in the thousands. Best wishes to Mr Samir Khakhar & everyone else who’s an actor.”

The tweet was his response to the news that actor Samir Khakhar who has played the character of Khopdo in Nukkad is currently in search of work.

Gulshan had quite a year during 2020 as he appeared in four major projects. One being Netflix’s ‘Ghost Stories’, the television film ‘Footfairy’ and recently ‘Unpaused’ from Amazon Prime video. He also did a web series for Amazon titled ‘Afsos’.
