First look: Sunny Kaushal to play ‘Daddu Thakur’ role in upcoming movie ‘Hurdang’

The shooting of the film got postponed owing to the lockdown for almost a year. It recently went into production again.

Emerging actor Sunny Kaushal exclusively shared on his Instagram account as to how his character ‘Daddu Thakur’ will look in his upcoming film ‘Hurdang’. The shooting of the film got postponed owing to the lockdown for almost a year. It recently went into production again.

He shared a picture of himself dressed in a black shirt with some brown aviator shades as he wrote a bike. The caption for the same read, “Daddu ij a back…Photo director sahab liye hain @nix_bhat

Sunny made his debut in the year 2016 with the film ‘Sunshine Music Tours and Travels’. He gained prominence through his role as Himmat Singh in the 2018 film ‘Gold’.

‘Hurdang’ is being helmed by filmmaker Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. It will star Sunny Kaushal, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Gully Boy fame Vijay Varma in the lead roles. It is going to be a love story which is set amidst the time when student agitation took place in 1990 Allahabad. The film went into production during July 2019. Although there is no official confirmation, the film will most probably release in 2021.
