Actor Anil Kapoor attended Vogue Women of The Year 2017 on Sunday in Mumbai. While interacting with media, Kapoor stated that he feels that entire country one day will celebrate 100th birthday of Amitabh Bachchan.

Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan have worked together in films like Shakti and Armaan. India’s living legend Amitabh Bachchan will celebrate his 75th birthday on 11th October, when asked Anil Kapoor to wish Bachchan on his birthday, Kapoor said, “75 years of age is nothing. He will work in films for more 20-25 years. I feel we should celebrate his birthday each year. I feel entire country including me, feel very special to have him around us each day of the year. I don’t know but I get the feeling that we all will be celebrating his 100th birthday together and this is my inner feeling”.

Anil Kapoor sported grey hair at the event, when asked him is this his look for ‘Fanney Khan’, he said, “I am doing a film called ‘Fanney Khan’ so director of our film Atul Manjarekar thought that this look will be appropriate for my character. I will be doing a film after almost three years without my beard so it feels weird because whichever film I did earlier, I used to sport light beard or stubble in my films so I hope audience will like it”.

Fanney Khan marks the reunion of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor in a film after 17 long years earlier both actors have worked Taal and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, talking about working with Aishwarya Rai, kapoor said, “I feel happy that I am getting an opportunity to work her again in the film. Earlier we have worked in two films and this will be our third film. I will start shooting with her in the film from October”.

Talking about Vogue women of The Year 2017, Kapoor said, “I want to congratulate Vogue on their 10th anniversary. It is really big deal for a fashion magazine to complete 10 years in India. Earlier, there used to have only 1-2 fashion magazines but now after entry of Vogue, I feel fashion has raised its standard in India”.

Anil Kapoor last seen along with his nephew Arjun Kapoor in Mubarakan.

Fanney Khan is helmed by Atul Manjrekar, produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, and is an official remake of the Oscar nominated Dutch film ‘Everybody’s Famous’.

It’ll hit the screens in April next year.
