The entire nation was shocked after finding out the wrath of coronavirus has made it’s way into the film and TV industry. Popular TV actor Parth Samthaan was recently found to be COVID-19 positive. The shoot for the popular show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ that Parth stars in, began a few days ago. Due to the lockdown, the shooting had come to a halt for 3 whole months. Unfortunately, it will have to be postponed again, owing to Parth’s health condition.
Earlier, a statement was also released by Balaji Telefilms saying, “We would like to inform various stakeholders that one of our talents from the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now receiving medical attention. Our first priority is to help protect our talent, production crew, and employees. We are taking all the precautions detailed in the guideline. We were and will continue following all medical protocols set by the authorities and have implemented guidelines concerning social interactions, hygiene, travel, and visits to the sets.”

Soon after this, Samthaan also took to his Instagram to let his fan know about the recent update on his health condition. He included a picture of himself while captioning it, “Hi everyone, I have been tested Positive for COVID 19 .although I have mild symptoms.. I would urge and request everyone who’s been with me in close proximity over the last few days please go and get yourself tested. The Bmc has regularly been in touch and with the doctor’s guidance I am in self-quarantine and I am grateful to them for all their support. Please be safe and take care.”

After this grave news, the entire team involved in the shooting of the series will undergo testing to ensure safety.
Producer Ekta Kapoor also wished the actor to get well soon. She shared the teaser of a new web series, Parth would be seen leading, titled ‘Mai Hero Bol Raha Hu’. She captioned it, “Get well soon Parth! @the_parthsamthaan ‘Kasauti…’ is waiting for its ‘Hero’ !”
