There is no doubt that Johny Lever is one of the finest actors Bollywood has to offer in the field of comedy. Although he is known for his quirky roles and impeccable comic timings within the entertainment industry, he earlier started off his career by doing standup comedy for a numerous number of people.
A lesser-known fact about him is that prominent actor of that era, Sunil Dutt took notice of him in one such stand-up shows and offered him a role as an actor for the film ‘Dard Ka Rishta’. The comedian recently took to his social media to share a picture of himself from his stand up days.
He posted a black and white photo of himself from the 80s era. He can be seen sporting a thin moustache and a full head of bushy hair while being dressed in formals and a fancy jacket on top of it. It was quite refreshing to see the picture as it made us appreciate all the hard work and dedication but by the artist to reach where he is now. Starting from 1986, he has had a successful career spanning over 3 decades. He last appeared in the blockbuster comedy Housefull 4 in 2019.
