Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, recently honored with the ‘Future Leader for One ASIA’ award at the 22nd Unforgettable Gala, expressed immense pride in the worldwide appeal of Indian cinema. He shared his joy at seeing Indian films break cultural, linguistic, and demographic barriers, resonating with audiences across the globe.

Khurrana was recognized at the prestigious event alongside notable figures such as Chinese-American actress Joan Chen and actor Hiroyuki Sanada, known for his roles in Shogun and the John Wick franchise. The actor took a moment in his video message to thank the jury and organizers, stating, “Celebrating India, its culture, stories, and people fuels my creativity as an artist. I’ve always wanted to showcase a different side of India and tell stories that are not often heard.”

He highlighted the socially impactful films he’s chosen throughout his career, including Vicky Donor, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhaan, and Badhaai Ho. “These films were my way of contributing to positive social change.
