Theatre actor Ashrut Jain has an interesting line up of films releasing this year including his forthcoming, Mulk featuring Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu followed by Shree Nayan Singh’s Batti Gul Meter Chalu alongside Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.
The talented actor who is busy with the movie promotion of Mulk recently revealed an interesting anecdote where Ranveer Singh was behind the camera! Yes, you read it right! During his modeling days, Ashrut got the chance to work with Ranveer. Interestingly, while Ashrut was in focus, Ranveer was a Chief Assistant Director (AD) on the sets.
The talented actor also revealed that while he was doing modeling, Ranveer was a chief AD on the sets of a popular commercial of a chips brand. According to Ashrut, he is the ‘first hero’ he has worked with and that Ranveer has a great energy.
Hailing from the city of Jabalpur, Ashrut Jain always had the dream of pursuing his passion of acting. The handsome actor is a trained actor and has been an active part of several plays during his theatre days.
