Veteran Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar underwent surgery in the United States on Wednesday to remove a cancerous bladder. The procedure, which involved creating an artificial bladder using a portion of his intestine, was successful. According to his family and Dr. Murugesh Manoharan, the actor is in stable condition and recovering well.
“We are pleased to share that the surgery was successful, and Shiva Rajkumar is now stable and recovering well,” said Dr. Manoharan. The actor’s family echoed this update, expressing gratitude for the care provided by a team of skilled medical professionals. Shiva Rajkumar remains under observation to ensure a smooth recovery.
Before traveling for treatment, the Janumada Jodi star thanked fans for their unwavering support. In an earlier interview, he acknowledged undergoing medical care but had refrained from disclosing details. “I am a human being and have a problem. It came, and I am taking treatment for it. I have about four sessions to complete,” he shared.
