Mumbai: Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan recently attended the NBA All-Star 2015 and participated in the Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Feb. 13 at Madison Square Garden as a goodwill ambassador to the league. Bachchan, a self-proclaimed Los Angeles Lakers fan, met NBA players and legends while in New York for 5 days and went behind the scenes at NBA All-Star Saturday Night and the 64thNBA All-Star Game.
While the actor put up a brave front and posed for pictures with the team, very few know that the actor was in excruciating pain due to a back and leg injury that he met with during the last schedule of All is Well.
Even though Abhishek was advised bed rest by his doctors, he decided to stick to his NBA commitments and travelled to NY where not only did he have a tight schedule that included photoshoots, interactions with the players but also a basketball game with professionals – Abhishek Bachchan became the first-ever Indian to take part in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game The actor put up a brave front and was on a heavy dose of medication that included local painkillers during his stay in New York.
