Sushant Singh Rajput joins hands with young and talented filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey’s next project to be produced by Ronnie Screwala.
News of Sushant Singh Rajput signing ‘Udta Punjab’ director Abhishek Chaubey’s untitled next has been making rounds for some time now, but there were no confirmations from any side. But now the Raabta actor just confirmed the movie, which is yet to be titled.
Sushant Singh Rajput took to his Twitter account and confirmed. He wrote, “Really excited and feel very fortunate to be a part of #AbhishekChaubey and @RonnieScrewvala next project. Can’t wait!! #RSVP”
The movie will be produced by veteran Ronnie Screwala, directed by Abhishek Chaubey, starring Sushant Singh Rajput, the movie is based on dacoits of Chambal in the 1970s.
Other than this film, Sushant will also be seen in ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’, ‘Drive’ and ‘Kedarnath’.
“Chanda Mama Door Ke” is an upcoming science-fiction space film. It is directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, also starring R. Madhavan. The film traces the journey of India’s space program and culminates with India’s first astronaut landing on the moon in 2017–18.
“Drive” pairs Sushant with Jacqueline in Tarun Mansukhani directorial, the movie revolves around race cars and high-tech robberies.
“Kedarnath” is written, directed and co-produced by Abhishek Kapoor. It features Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles which mark the latter’s debut in acting.
