It was announced that the noted superhero franchise from DC ‘Aquaman’ will be getting a sequel. After much anticipation, the director of the film James Wan finally revealed the title of the upcoming film i.e. ‘Aquaman 2’. Through a post on Instagram, the filmmaker made it public that the new film is going to be called ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’.
As he shared the post, he captioned it, ‘The tide is rising.’ Jason Mamoa will be reprising his role as the protagonist i.e. Arthur Curry and actors from the first film i.e. Amber Hear, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, Yahya Abdul Mateen, Willem Dafoe, and Dolph Lundgren have also been roped in for the second part of the franchise.
