Celebrated filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor who is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ took to his social media to share a glimpse of Vaani Kapoor’s character from the film. He also revealed the name of her character and mentioned how the actress is the only one who has been capable enough to breathe life into the role created by him for the film.
In his post, he quoted the famous author Lisa See while describing her character as he said, “While she is lovely, we need to remember that her face is not what distinguishes her. Vaani will be seen romancing Ayushmann Khurrana in the film who will be playing the role of a cross-functional athlete in the film. He went through a tremendous transformation during the lock down to prepare for this role. As the name of the film suggests, the cast and crew began shooting for the film from October 2020 in the city of Chandigarh.
No official release date has been given out but the film will hopefully hit the theaters in the year 2021.
