One of the most awaited films of 2020, Laxmmi Bomb by Akshay Kumar has an official release date now. Before this, it was announced that the film is headed for an OTT launch on ‘Disney+ Hotstar’ owing to the halt in big-screen releases during the time of the pandemic. However, the actor via his social media has confirmed the release date now!
He shared a post, which was like a teaser to the upcoming film where he could be seen transitioning into the attire of a woman frame by frame. The audio behind him says, “Aaj se tera naam Laxman nahi, Laxmmi hoga..” (From now own you shall be called Laxmmi, not Laxman)
He wrote alongside the clip, “Iss Diwali aapke gharon mein “laxmmi” ke saath ek dhamakedar “bomb” bhi aayega. It was during the time of Navratri, last year that Akshay had unveiled his mysterious yet haunting look for the film. He took to Instagram to share a still from the forthcoming film, where he could be seen dressed in a saree while staring at the camera angrily. He captioned the post, “Navratri is about bowing to the inner goddess and celebrating your limitless strength. On this auspicious occasion, I am sharing with you my look as Laxmmi.
