After launching the inspirational trailer of Ekta Kapoor and ALTBalaji’s digital show, The Test Case featuring Nimrat Kaur, Juhi Chawla, Atul Kulkarni and Rahul Dev, the makers launched the first episode of the much-awaited show on 30th April that received favourable response from the people.
Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, Ekta Kapoor’s ‘The Test Case’ sees Nimrat prepping to be the Indian Army’s first woman test case in a combat role. The subject of ‘first Indian woman in combat forces has certainly stirred up several conversations and debates among the people.
In the first episode, Captain Shikha Sharma (Nimrat Kaur) is sent to Special Force Training Centre in Kolipad along with other male counterparts on the insistence of a woman Defence Minister Shraddha Pandit (Juhi Chawla) as a test case. If she manages to finish the training, then she opens up doors for other women aspirants.
Those who have watched the first episode of The Test Case couldn’t stop raving about Nimrat’s earnest performance and dedication as Captain Shikha Sharma along with seasoned actors including Atul Kulkarni and Rahul Dev who plays Colonel Ajinkya Sathe and Kirpal Bhatti, respectively.
