We all have seen Queen Padmavati aka Deepika Padukone’s first look from the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, now comes the dapper and most handsome King Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, played by Shahid Kapoor.
The actor Shahid Kapoor released two first look poster of his character from forthcoming magus opus Padmawati, in which he portrays the role of Mewar King, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.

In the two new posters of Padmavati, which are the first posters of the male lead, Shahid Kapoor looks handsome and fierce as Rani Padmavati’s husband, Rawal Ratan Singh. In both, the poster the actor looks every-bit of Royal King, ready to defend the honor of his queen.
The film is a fictionalized account of the life of Rani Padmini, a legendary queen mentioned in Padmavat. According to Padmavat, she was the wife of Rana Rawal Ratan Singh, the ruler of Mewar.
In 1303, Alauddin Khilji, the Turkic ruler of the Delhi Sultanate, laid siege to the Chittor Fort in Rajputana. According to Padmavat, Khilji led the invasion motivated by his desire to capture Rani Padmini.
The movie also features Ranveer Singh in the role of Alauddin Khilji.
The poster also has updated information about the release date of the film. The film was earlier slated for 17th November release but now the movie will hit the theatres on 1st December.
